Dentists
Dr. John Browne
BDS NUI, MSc (Endodontics) U.Lond, Practice limited to Endodontics
Dr Browne is from Blackrock, Cork and graduated from Cork University Dental School and Hospital in 2002. Following his graduation, Dr Browne spent some years working in general practice, in both the UK and Ireland, before establishing Belvedere Dental Care in 2006.
A special interest and a pursuit for excellence saw Dr Browne commence a fulltime Masters Programme in Endodontics, at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London, in 2009. On completing his Master’s Degree, and attaining a distinction in his Masters Research Project, he returned to Cork and to Belvedere Dental Care where he has limited his practice to Endodontics. He takes referrals from dental practitioners throughout Ireland for routine or complex root canal treatments.
Dr Browne undertakes all aspects of Endodontics including pain diagnosis, primary treatments, re-treatments (including instrument and post removal) and surgical endodontics. Dr Browne has a particular interest in the management of acute dental trauma due to sporting injuries, accidental falls or any traumatic incident resulting in harm to the dentition/mouth. All treatments are carried out with the aid of a dental operating microscope.
Dr Browne’s friendly, chatty disposition and caring manner immediately puts patients at ease and his expertise in pain management alleviates patients concerns in how this treatment is carried out.
Dr. Clodagh McMorrow
BSc, PhD, BDS NUI
Dr McMorrow received her Bachelor of Dental Science degree from UCC in 2014. Prior to this she completed a BSc in physiology (2006) and Ph.D. in respiratory physiology (2010) from UCD. During this time, she gained numerous publications in both Irish and international peer reviewed journals.
Dr McMorrow is a very friendly and caring dentist and loves creating a welcoming environment for all her patients. She is committed to continual professional development, regularly attending dental lectures and hands on courses, to ensure she is up to date with all the latest dental treatments and products.
Dr McMorrow is a keen sportswoman. As well as being a qualified tennis coach she was an Irish junior tennis champion and has represented both Munster and Ireland in the sport. She has run a number of marathons and represents Belvedere Dental Care in the local BHAA races around Cork.
Dr. Suzanne Kennedy-O’Shea
BSc, BDS NUI, MFDS RCSI
Dr Kennedy-O’Shea completed her Dentistry degree (BDS Honours) at University College Cork in 2019, having previously attained a BSc in General Nursing in 2007. Her love for general dentistry and continual professional development has seen her most recently gain membership to the Faculty of Dentistry at Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, having passed the Diploma in Primary Dental Care and MFD Part 2 exams.
Dr Kennedy-O’Shea is committed to making her patients feel comfortable and having a pleasant experience when coming to the clinic. She strives to provide an atmosphere for her patients to encourage them to make positive choices for their dental health. She is consistently working to improve her technical skills, with a strong commitment to continuing education.
When not working Dr Kennedy-O’Shea enjoys spending time with her family and keeping fit by running and playing squash.
Dr. Marina Fuller
BDS NUI
Dr Fuller graduated in dentistry from UCC in 2001. Following her graduation, she moved to the UK to take up a position in a busy general practice in Essex where she remained for 11 years. During her time in the UK Dr Fuller gained a vast amount of experience and was very active in pursuing further training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr Fuller returned to Cork in 2012, with her young family, and has worked in private practice since.
Dr Fuller is a gentle and caring dentist who aims to provide excellent dental care to all the family. She enjoys all aspects of her work and has a special interest in dental prevention, treating nervous patients and children’s dentistry. As a mother of three she is passionate about helping children feel comfortable in the dental environment and educating them about their oral health. Dr Fuller is committed to continuing professional development and keeps up to date with dental literature.

Cathy Doyle
Practice Manager/Receptionist
Cathy, our practice manager, has been at Belvedere Dental Care since 2015. Her friendly and enthusiastic manner makes her a very popular member of staff with the team and patients of Belvedere Dental Care.
Cathy strives to make sure all patients are completely comfortable and happy during their visit. Her excellent communication skills, developed from many years of dental experience, immediately puts patients at ease and ensures all patients have a clear and concise understanding of their dental needs.
Cathy prides herself on providing the highest level of support to our Dental Surgeons at all times.
Aoife Hayes
Dental Nurse / Receptionist
Aoife joined the team at Belvedere Dental Care in 2017. Previous to this she worked in childcare after graduating from the College of Commerce.
Aoife enjoys meeting patients of all ages. She especially strives to put anxious patients at ease and make them feel as comfortable as possible during treatments. Aoife has developed vast experience at assisting in specialist endodontics and is always eager to learn new skills.
Sofia Fazzalari
Dental Nurse
Sofia is a dental nurse, and former air hostess, from Italy. During her time in Italy Sofia gained valuable experience assisting in general and specialist dentistry including endodontics, orthodontics and implantology.
Sofia is a warm and caring person who enjoys meeting patients and making them feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Sofia especially enjoys working with children.
Manar Al-Matary
Dental Nurse
Manar is a qualified dentist, from Yemen, who recently joined the team as a dental nurse. She moved to Cork to do a masters in Dental Public Health in UCC which she has recently completed. Manar has an interest in all areas of dentistry and hopes to pass her Irish dental registration exams in the near future. She is really enjoying Cork “The Real Capital”, as she says herself, and it is fast becoming her new home.
